Community College Pass
Students Ride Free
OCTA developed the College Pass Program to allow enrolled community college students to travel free on any OC Bus fixed route and help students access higher education, employment and recreational opportunities. The first of its kind in Orange County, the shared-cost program launched in 2017 and by 2022, all Orange County community colleges were onboard.OCTA works with the administration and student leaders at participating colleges to develop funding and market the program.
By downloading a pass via the OC Bus app or using their student identification cards, participants can ride the regular OC Bus system to school, to work, or wherever the bus travels across Orange County.
