Freeways Free Of Construction Thanksgiving Weekend

No closures anticipated on projects throughout the county

ORANGE – People headed to Thanksgiving feasts will enjoy a more relaxed commute as construction closures throughout the county will be postponed for the holiday weekend.

Ongoing closures associated with the West County Connectors, O.C. Bridges, SR-91 and SR-57 projects will not take place from Thursday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 25 to ease the impact on drivers. Regular construction schedules will resume on Monday, Nov. 26.

The projects represent more than $600 million in improvements and when completed will enhance traffic flow and safety for hundreds of thousands of drivers that travel along Orange County’s freeways daily.
