Metrolink Woo Woo Fridays Pulls Into Orange

Special event discounts and concert at Ruby’s Diner on Nov. 18

ORANGE – Join OCTA for a night of live music, extended happy hour and free appetizers at Ruby’s Diner/Streamliner Lounge near the Orange train station on Friday.

The event takes place Nov. 18 with a free concert beginning at 7 p.m. featuring the local band Headshine. The restaurant is offering extended happy hours from 3 p.m. until closing and a free appetizer with meal purchase when a validated train pass is shown. In addition, free OCLINK train passes will be given away to the first 100 people at the Fullerton and Tustin stations beginning at 5 p.m.

OCLINK passes are sold for $7 roundtrip and can be purchased at:
Orange County Metrolink train stations
Von’s, Ralphs and Pavilions supermarkets
On all local OCTA buses
The OCTA Store in Orange

Headshine is from Huntington Beach and plays a mix of acoustic and coastal-rock. The band recorded a song about the benefits of public transportation for the OCTA event. The song and music video are now available at www.octa.net/MetrolinkMusic.

Trains will be running from Laguna Nigel/Mission Viejo, Irvine, Tustin, Santa Ana, Fullerton and Anaheim to make it to the Orange station in time for the concert and happy hour.
