Members keep an eye on public’s tax dollars
ORANGE – The Orange County Transportation Authority is seeking qualified volunteers to serve on the Taxpayer Oversight Committee. The 11-member committee monitors OCTA’s use of revenue collected through Measure M, the county’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements, ensuring that all funds are spent on voter-approved transportation projects.
