Virtual open house scheduled for June 30; Comments will be accepted through July 21
ORANGE – The Orange County Transportation Authority is seeking public input on its draft Hazard Mitigation Plan, designed to strengthen the organization’s resilience to natural hazards including flooding, earthquakes and wildfires.
A virtual open house, which will allow the public to review the plan, ask questions and provide input, is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30.

The feedback OCTA receives will assist in developing a plan that ensures that Orange County residents, workers and visitors can keep moving and OCTA can keep running its transportation services even in the event of a natural disaster. The plan will also help OCTA apply for federal funding opportunities that allow for enhanced measures to prepare for natural disasters.
