SR-91 Improvement Project Open House Set for March 14

ORANGE – The Orange County Transportation Authority, in partnership with Caltrans, is seeking feedback on proposed improvements to the SR-91 freeway from SR-57 to SR-55 in north Orange County.

An open house is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 at Rio Vista Elementary School in Anaheim, 310 N. Rio Vista Street, as part of the environmental phase of the improvement project. The open house will allow members of the public to receive information about the project, ask questions and offer comments.

The project is intended to increase capacity and improve traffic flow in both directions from west of State College Boulevard to east of Lakeview Avenue, through the cities of Anaheim, Fullerton, Orange and Placentia.

The environmental phase of the project is funded through Measure M, also known as OC Go, which is Orange County’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements, and state funding.

While early in the process, the public is encouraged to get familiar with the project and provide input, which is essential to ensuring a successful outcome.
